
Every year Camp Frenda accepts approximately 45 young people for summer employment. Usually one third or thirty percent of the previous year’s staff will not return due to a variety of reasons which include, but not limited to; graduation from university/college, summer co-op opportunities within their field of study, or an unsatisfactory summer ending evaluation which renders continued employment impossible.
Maintaining a high ratio of returning staff from year to year provides the new staff with seasoned mentorship and increases the overall camp safety for both staff and campers.
In 2012 Camp Frenda is seeking 14 individuals for the following positions:
One Lifeguards/Counsellors with NLS certification
One Lifeguard/Counsellor with NLS certification and a boat License
Three Workers for the Horsemanship program
Two Craft Instructors/Counsellors
One Drama and Arts Instructor/Counsellor
One Radio Broadcaster and Digital Photography Instructor/Counsellor
One Outdoor Living Skills Instructor/Counsellor
One Adventurer Sports Instructor/Counsellor
Two Kitchen/Housekeeper Workers
One Maintenance Worker
